Haryana Minister Anil Vij distributes Rs. 25.23 lakh in solar subsidies to 23 beneficiaries under PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, promoting green energy.

Anil Vij, the minister of Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labour, gave subsidy checks totaling Rs. 25.23 lakh to 23 “Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana” beneficiaries at his Ambala cantonment home. He called on everyone to utilize the program to the fullest extent possible so that India can progress toward becoming a green energy-powered nation in keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal.

He claimed that the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, in which the State Government pays Rs. 50,000 and the Central Government provides Rs. 60,000, is a great program for the people. Each beneficiary receives a total subsidy of Rs. 1.10 lakh. A Rs. 1.10 lakh subsidy for the installation of solar panels up to 2 kilowatts is available to homes with incomes under Rs. 1.80 lakh.

It is crucial for recipients to raise awareness and show others that electricity becomes nearly free after solar panels are installed, the Energy Minister added. Electricity costs can be completely eliminated when a household’s daily electricity needs are satisfied by the power produced by solar panels during the day. The program spans larger capacities and is not just for 2 kW installations. For instance, Rs. 78,000 is given as a subsidy to those who install panels up to 3 kW. He encouraged more and more people to use this program. He urged partygoers to spread the word about solar panel installation and get others to do the same.

Twenty-three recipients from Ambala Cantonment were given subsidy checks today under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
