CM Nayab Singh Saini inaugurates Kar Seva at Shri Devi Talab, Jalandhar, encouraging youth to volunteer and preserve the sacred lake and cultural heritage.
The revered Shri Devi Talab in Jalandhar is more than just a temple, according to Ryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini; it is the center of our religion, culture, and illustrious customs. At the Kar Seva inauguration event at the Shri Devi Talab Temple in Jalandhar, Punjab, CM Saini spoke these things to volunteers.
Returning the Lake to Its Optimal State
“Our top priority is to return the lake to its original purity,” he stated. In addition to serving God, the repair and cleaning of this hallowed lake serves as a reminder of our obligations to one another. He claimed that in addition to their shared culture and illustrious past, Punjab and Haryana are also related by blood and religion.

He informed the residents of Jalandhar that the lake is an essential component of the city’s character. The actual duty starts after the Kar Seva is finished. Every day, make sure the lake is kept clean. Avoid throwing trash into the lake, including puja materials. Ensure compliance and preserve its holiness by establishing stringent regulations with the help of the local community and temple committee.
