Haryana Minister Anil Vij addresses public grievances in Ambala, instructing officials and police to act quickly on complaints ranging from pensions to property issues.

Anil Vij, the minister of energy, transportation, and labor for Haryana, addressed the public grievances of residents of the Ambala Cantonment Assembly Constituency at his home today and gave officials instructions to act quickly on a number of grievances.

A young person from Tundla complained to Minister Vij that an agent had stolen his documents and about Rs. 1.5 lakh under the guise of transferring him to Croatia, but that the money had never been delivered outside or refunded. Minister Vij took the situation seriously and ordered the Cantt Police to prosecute the offending agent.

Similarly, the Minister ordered the Cantt SHO to take the necessary measures after a Prem Nagar resident claimed that some people were trying to take over his store. After a Babyal woman complained that her old-age pension was not being processed, the minister gave the relevant department instructions to address the situation right away. A woman from Housing Board Colony told the Minister that she has been making a living from a tiny cosmetics shop since her husband passed away, but she has been harassed by her in-laws. Regarding this, Sh. Vij gave the Cantt Police the order to start working on the issue right now.

Additionally, a woman from Dayalbagh reported that her home had been stolen for Rs. 2.5 lakh, an elderly woman from Tribune Colony reported that her son had harassed her, a woman from the BD Floor Mill area complained that her electric meter had not been installed, students wanted bus passes, residents of Dhobighat wanted a shed installed, and residents of Rambagh Road Gwal Mandi demanded that dead animals be removed. Minister Anil Vij gave the concerned officials instructions to act quickly and decisively in all of these cases. This time, representatives from a number of departments were in attendance.
