CM Naib Singh Saini launched the first installment of the Lado Laxmi Yojana, crediting ₹2100 to 5.22 lakh women in Haryana to empower and support them financially.

The first installment of the Lado Laxmi Yojana in the account of women was released today by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. On September 25, the Haryana government released the app. Women who met three requirements were added to the program in the first phase.

On the occasion of Haryana Day, the first installment, which cost Rs 21 hundred, was made available. By clicking the button, the chief minister credited 5 lakh 22 thousand 162 eligible sisters and daughters with Rs 2100 in financial aid under the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. A paperless register system was also introduced throughout the state by the CM.

All Deputy Commissioners have been instructed by the Haryana government to set up Lado Laxmi Yojana camps in their regions on Saturday as well, and to apply to qualified women. We will continue to accept registrations for this program. Next month, the program’s benefits will be extended to the remaining qualified women.

The Lado Laxmi Yojana was introduced by the BJP prior to the assembly elections. On September 25, the Haryana government released the app. Women who met three requirements were added to the program in the first phase.

The conditions are that the family’s yearly income should be one lakh rupees. The candidate must be at least 23 years old, and the spouse of the single applicant or married applicant must be a Haryana native for at least 15 years. The number of women in a household that can benefit from the program is not limited.

The second phase will assist one lakh forty thousand women.

There will be several stages to the Lado Laxmi Yojana’s implementation. Families earning one lakh forty thousand per year will be eligible for the program in the second phase. This initiative will include up to one lakh eighty thousand families in the third phase and up to three lakh families in the fourth.

The second phase would probably be announced by the Haryana government in the 2026 budget. Before the assembly elections, however, the BJP had promised to provide all woman a grant of Rs 2100.
Women in Jharkhand receive the highest income.

When it comes to giving women and sisters financial support, Jharkhand has surpassed Haryana. Every month, girls and women receive 2,500 rupees under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana.

Women between the ages of 18 and 50 are eligible to participate in the program designed to empower women. Approximately 55 lakh women are utilizing the program. The Jharkhand government has set aside over Rs 16 thousand crore for this purpose.
Over a thousand guys have submitted applications to become ladies.

Some attempted to take advantage of the Lado Laxmi scam, but the app’s feature detected them and turned down their application. The Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Antyodaya Department reports that over a thousand men attempted to become women in order to receive benefits from the Lado Laxmi Yojana.

These individuals were apprehended during the live photo update and Aadhaar verification process. The department got more active after this, and every application is now being carefully reviewed.

On September 25, the Lado Laxmi Yojana application period opened. The app was used to fill out the application for this scheme. Over a thousand men used the app to apply for jobs in the names of women during this period by falsifying their Aadhaar cards. The ability to upload live photographs has been added as the final stage in the application process.

These individuals uploaded live images as well, but their manipulation was discovered when the Aadhaar card and live photo verification processes were conducted. Aside from this, around 1,500 women will not be able to get the first installment since their accounts have not been updated.

Maharashtra teaches Haryana lessons

Maharashtra has taught the Haryana administration not to fall for such scams. Approximately 13,000 men had obtained approximately Rs 24 crore by transforming into women under the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahana Yojana. When Haryana’s service department officials were making plans, the issue was discovered.

In light of the Maharashtra scam, the app retained the live photo feature and added facial authentication each month to ensure that no guy could exploit the scam by posing as a woman. The government of Haryana has also included a clause in its policy that states that anyone who benefits from fraud will have their entire money returned plus interest at the rate of 12 percent.
