Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana says every grain is purchased at MSP and crop compensation will soon reach farmers’ bank accounts.

The Haryana government always strives for the welfare of the state’s farmers and has a strong position with them. In the state’s mandis, every grain of produce is purchased at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Officers have been given instructions to make sure that no farmer experiences any difficulties throughout the procurement procedure.

Speaking to reporters following his attendance at today’s District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting in Charkhi Dadri, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana made this statement.

According to the Agriculture Minister, eight of the sixteen concerns that were brought before the committee were immediately rectified, and the remaining eight objections were resolved after the appropriate instructions were given.

According to Sh. Rana, who spoke to the reporters, the State Government constantly strives to improve the lot of farmers. To raise farmers’ incomes, a number of aid programs have been put in place. The government’s strategy calls for the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana monies to be disbursed shortly. Soon, farmers will receive direct bank account transfers for compensation for crops harmed by extreme rain.

The Minister added that challans of several lakh rupees had been issued and that the district government is actively combating overcrowding.
