CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inspects Ujjain’s KD Gate–Nikas Square road widening project for Simhastha 2028, lauds citizens for voluntary cooperation.

The road widening project from KD Gate to Nikas Square in Ujjain, next to Khajurwali Masjid, was inspected by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday in anticipation of Simhastha 2028. To enable road widening, residents have willingly demolished portions of their homes as a sign of their self-driven contribution to progress.

Dr. Yadav, the chief minister, praised the residents for their involvement and expressed happiness with this great idea. Widening this route will stimulate local trade and offer the city’s ancient market area a new direction, he said. Along with talking to locals and asking how they were doing, the Chief Minister also went over the plans for the Simhastha projects.

In the course of the inspection, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave Collector Shri Raushan Kumar Singh instructions to make sure that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana helps eligible locals who willingly vacate parts of their homes for the road widening project. He gave the order for the work to be finished quickly while yet providing inhabitants with the necessary convenience.

Among those in attendance for the inspection were MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, and Shri Ravi Solanki.
