CM Nayab Singh Saini launches new projects in Nalwa, Hisar; highlights ₹1,168 crore investment, farmer welfare, road upgrades, and school & health initiatives.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini unveiled a number of new projects and welfare initiatives during a public event hosted by Nalwa MLA Randhir Panihar on Sunday, highlighting the rapid development in the Nalwa region of Hisar district.
In his speech, Saini asserted that the rate of progress in the Nalwa assembly sector has tripled in comparison to the previous Congress administration. While the Congress spent just ₹377 crore during its ten-year term, the BJP government has invested ₹1,168 crore in the constituency since 2014. Over the previous 11 years, 120 announcements have been made for the region, he said, 97 of which have been completed, and work on seven more is moving quickly. The BJP government has issued 603 announcements to the people of Hisar district, according to Saini.

The chief minister described the BJP government’s efforts to improve farmer welfare, pointing out that it had transferred ₹15,465 crore in crop loss compensation, compared to ₹1,155 crore under the Congress administration. He emphasized that the minimum support price (MSP) is now being paid for all crops in the state and mentioned the recent decision to set the MSP for sugarcane at ₹415 per quintal.
Saini announced certain development projects in Nalwa, such as the construction of an urban health center in Azad Nagar, a sub-health center in Panihar, and the upgrading of a government primary school to a high school, contingent on land availability.
Regarding MLA Randhir Panihar’s plea to provide Mangali village sub-tehsil status, Adampur subdivision, and Balsamand tehsil status, the chief minister declared that a committee will be established to look into these requests.
In the Nalwa assembly sector, he added, 186 km of roads would be rehabilitated, with 46 km already under progress. Additionally, he declared the establishment of a welcome board in honor of former chief minister Bhajan Lal.
At the celebration, three new projects totaling ₹22 crore were officially opened: a road-strengthening project from Mulkan to Syaharwa, a welcome gate, and the Munshi Prem Chand library.

Along with approving ₹51 lakh for solar panel installations and dharamshalas, the chief minister also revealed plans to rename a government institution after Sant Namdev Maharaj.
He stated that following feasibility studies, the Siwani subdivision of Bhiwani district would unite with Hisar as part of administrative adjustments.
By pointing out that 48 of the 217 promises made prior to the elections have been fulfilled in just one year and that 90 more are anticipated to be realized by the end of the year, Saini emphasized the fulfillment of significant “sankalps” and electoral promises.
