Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visits Kedarnath Dham during winter closure, prays for citizens, and reviews ongoing development projects.
During his visit to Shri Kedarnath Dham, which marked the temple’s closure for the winter, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of Uttarakhand’s citizens. The Chief Minister also had a look at the Dham’s continuing construction.
An important hub of Sanatan worship, the temple of Kedarnath, ceremoniously shuttered its doors for the winter on Thursday. During his particular visit to Kedarnath on this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers and performed rituals for the state’s citizens’ well-being. The Chief Minister spoke with pilgrims and monks in the area as well.

Baba Kedarnath saw a record number of devotees this year, according to Chief Minister Dhami. He claimed that the state government’s meticulous planning made this year’s Char Dham Yatra both successful and well-run. The Char Dham Yatra, he continued, not only contributes significantly to the state’s economy but also links Devbhoomi Uttarakhand with adherents of Sanatan Dharma worldwide.
In the course of his visit, the Chief Minister also examined the ongoing development projects in the Kedarnath area, stating that various projects are being carried out at temples connected to the Manaskhand region as well as the Char Dhams under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In order to guarantee seamless planning and preparations, he instructed officials to start early in the 2026 pilgrimage season.
The Chief Minister thanked the priests, local businessmen, pilgrims, and rights holders for their cooperation in making the yatra a success.
During the Char Dham Yatra this year, a record number of devotees traveled, and the journey to Baba Kedarnath was successfully completed. May Baba continue to bless each and every one of us. The state administration, led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is working to establish Uttarakhand as the Sanatan Dharma’s spiritual capital.
