Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini reviews Dhosi Hill Ropeway and other tourism projects to enhance local attractions, jobs, and cultural heritage.

Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini examined the status of several initiatives to boost the state’s tourism industry, such as the projected ropeway project at the ancient Dhosi Hill in the Mahendragarh area. He gave officials instructions to move quickly to finish all outstanding tasks before the deadline.

Today, a crucial review meeting on the Dhosi Hill Ropeway Project was being chaired by the Chief Minister. Additionally, Dr. Arvind Sharma, Minister of Tourism and Heritage, participated virtually in the meeting.

The chief minister declared that the government of Haryana is dedicated to promoting the state’s tourist attractions internationally. In addition to being a source of leisure, he claimed that tourism is a potent driver of regional growth, job creation, and cultural preservation.

At an estimated cost of Rs 57 crore, the Dhosi Hill Ropeway Project is being created with the goal of making the area a top tourist attraction. This was disclosed during the conference. About 870 meters will be the length of the proposed ropeway. The ropeway will facilitate access to Dhosi Hill once it is finished, drawing tourists from both local and foreign locations. Mahendragarh’s historical landmarks, such as its forts and heritage sites, are anticipated to attract more tourists as a result of the project.

The renovation of Mahendragarh Fort, Madhogarh Fort, and the nearby Baoli were all considered at the meeting. To accommodate mehndi ceremonies and other cultural events, it was suggested that the Baoli be transformed into a “Rani Mahal.” Declaring that such initiatives would increase local employment and encourage area tourism, the Chief Minister welcomed the plan and recommended that the project be built using the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

Additionally, the Chief Minister directed officials to further improve the beauty and attractiveness of Pinjore and Tikkartal in Morni, where he examined existing tourism development initiatives. In the Morni highlands, he underlined the necessity of improving lodging facilities at Pinjore Gardens and investigating the possibility of new initiatives like a ropeway.

The Chief Minister also gave officials instructions to ensure the “Anubhav Kendra” being created in Kurukshetra district is completed on time after reviewing its development.

Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Yashpal Yadav, Managing Director of the Tourism Development Corporation Dr. Shalin, Additional Chief Secretary Town and Country Planning Department A.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Environment Department Vineet Garg, Principal Secretary Tourism Department Kala Ramachandran, and Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi were among the other high-ranking officials who attended the meeting.
