CM Mohan Yadav celebrated Govardhan Puja in Ujjain, worshipped Gau Mata, and promoted farmer welfare schemes like Bhavantar and Surya Ghar Yojana.

At the Gaushala of Tilkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Ujjain , Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted Govardhan Puja. He also took part in the lavish Gau-Annkoot ceremony and worshipped the revered Gau Mata.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Govardhan Pooja is being held in every village and home in the state today out of respect for Gau Seva and the natural world. We have always been taught to maintain a connection with nature by our Sanatan culture. We are all nurtured and protected by Gau Mata and her calves. This spiritual link is symbolized by Lord Shri Krishna, also called Gopal Krishna. Currently, all festivals are being joyfully and enthusiastically celebrated by the government and the populace. It is customary to celebrate Govardhan Pooja the day after Diwali.

India is a country of Gaupalks and farmers, according to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Only when our farmers and animals are doing well will Diwali truly mean anything to all of us. At this point, true prosperity appears. The grant amount for the care of each cow in cowsheds has been raised by the government. The government will also provide financial support to those involved in milk production. Every household will be encouraged to become self-sufficient in raising cattle.

The River Linking Campaign was started by the Madhya Pradesh government to increase the area covered by irrigation. Farmers who install solar pumps will receive up to 90% of the subsidy under the Surya Ghar Yojana.

The government has launched the Bhavantar Payment Scheme for soybeans, which would act as a link between farmers and traders, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav added. Farmers will be treated with more respect as a result, and grain markets will gain legitimacy. According to him, a number of programs are being implemented to improve the lot of farmers and agricultural traders. In addition to crop production, subsidies will be given for the establishment of processing facilities. In food processing, farmers and market vendors should collaborate. The establishment of a Food Park in the Malwa region will allow traders to operate with confidence and farmers to sell their produce at higher rates. The “Vocal for Local” campaign is continuously being promoted by the administration, the Chief Minister emphasized. Dr. Yadav, the chief minister, greeted everyone on the occasion of Govardhan Puja. In addition, he offered prayers for the advancement and welfare of the state’s citizens while performing the ritual worship and abhishek of Lord Tilkeshwar Mahadev.

Among those in attendance were Municipal Corporation Sabhapati Smt. Kalavati Yadav, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kalukheda, Shri Chintamani Malviya, Municipal Commissioner Shri Abhilash Mishra, ADG Shri Umesh Joga, Collector Shri Roshan Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police Shri Pradeep Sharma, and Sanjay Agarwal.

In his welcome speech, Mandi Traders Association President Shri Jitendra Agarwal praised the Chief Minister for always advocating for farmers and traders. The association presented a Gau Mata statue and a souvenir to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in his honor. The ceremony was conducted by Shri Jagdish Panchal, who also suggested a vote of gratitude.
