Rajasthan CM Fellowship Program offers graduates and postgraduates a ₹60,000 stipend and mentorship to work in government departments.

In order to give gifted graduates and postgraduates the chance to work in government agencies without having to take recruitment tests, the Rajasthani government established the CM Fellowship Program.

A monthly stipend of Rs 60,000 and an allowance of Rs 5,000 would be given to the chosen youth. Under the direction of senior officials, fellows will work in 11 departments, including the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

Possibility for postgraduates and grads

Rajasthani youth with talent can now work directly in government agencies. Both graduates and postgraduates are eligible to participate in this program. They can have practical experience in administration and governance through the curriculum.

Departments as well as mentoring

Eleven departments, including the CMO, will receive fellows. The ACS or Principal Secretary of the relevant department will serve as a mentor for each fellow. The Joint Secretary shall be designated by the mentor as a nodal person to oversee the fellow’s day-to-day activities. The CMO will give the fellows instructions.

Allowance and stipend

A monthly stipend of Rs 60,000 will be given to the chosen youth. They would also receive a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 to help with expenditures.

From CM Fellowship to Young Professionals Scheme

In the past, the Young Professionals Scheme let postgraduates and graduates to intern in government agencies. It has since been superseded by the CM Fellowship Program, which provides better funding, mentorship, and structure.

Committee for the Implementation of the Program

The Department of Economics and Statistics will oversee the program. To establish selection criteria, a Program Implementation Committee has been established. The Chairman will be the Planning Department’s Principal Secretary. The Director of Economics and Statistics, the Secretary of the Finance Department, the Joint Director of the CM Fellowship Program, and the Joint Secretary of the CMO are examples of member secretaries.

Selection Procedure: Interview and Group Discussion

Following online applications, candidates will initially be shortlisted. Following that, they will participate in a group discussion and a one-on-one interview, both of which will be worth 100 points. The Director or Joint Secretary of the Planning or Statistics Department will serve as the Interview Board’s chairman. The Joint Secretary of the Economics and Statistics Department and the CMO are additional members.

Orientation and the merit list

A merit list with twice as many openings will be made public following the evaluation. A one-week orientation training is required of selected fellows prior to their departmental placement.

Project work and monthly reporting

Fellows are required to submit work progress reports every month. We’ll examine this every three months. A final project report must also be prepared by them. To carry out their responsibilities, fellows need to have their own laptops and data cards.

Deadline for applications

Applications have already been submitted to the government through October 10th. Interviews and group discussions will now be held with the candidates.
