Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma offers ₹10-25 lakh compensation to families of bus fire victims near Jaisalmer. PM Modi also announces immediate aid for injured and deceased families.

Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma granted financial help for the families of the people who died and were hurt in the fire that broke out on an AC sleeper bus traveling from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur .

The Chief Minister said that the state government is with the relatives of the dead during this time of sorrow. The government is dedicated to giving them all the help they need and the finest care possible for the hurt.

The dependents of the dead person would each get ₹10 lakh in financial help. Families that lost three or more people in the accident would each get ₹25 lakh. Those who are critically hurt will get ₹2 lakh each, while those who are less seriously hurt will get ₹1 lakh each. As a news release said, Mr. Sharma gave this permission by making the rules for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund less strict.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Gajendra Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, said that Prime Minister Modi had promised Rs 2 lakh in immediate help to the families of the dead. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also went to the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur and met with the injured in Jaisalmer to make sure they got “full medical assistance.” The CM told doctors to make sure that all medical help and the finest possible care were given.

The Prime Minister said that the PMNRF would give 2 lakh rupees to the families of the dead and 50,000 rupees to the injured right away. The Chief Minister went to Jaisalmer and Jodhpur to see the injured people in person and make sure they got all the medical help they needed. “Shekhawat said, “I talked to the authorities when I heard about this yesterday.”

At least 20 people died and several more were hurt when a private bus going to Jodhpur caught fire near the Thaiyat village in Jaisalmer on Tuesday.
