Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma campaigns in Sitamarhi, Bihar, as NDA and Congress release candidate lists for upcoming Bihar Assembly elections on Nov 6 and 11.
Bihar Assembly elections are coming up, and Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma is going to campaign there today.
The projected schedule says that the Chief Minister would go to Bihar for one day to help his party (BJP) gain momentum in the election campaign. He will speak at a big rally at Dumra, Sitamarhi.
The official timetable says that CM Sharma will leave Jaipur Airport at 9:35 am and get to Patna later in the morning. He would then take a chopper from Patna Airport at 11:10 am and should ge Dumra, Sitamarhi at 11:45 am. He will leave the Dumra helipad at 11:50 a.m. and get to the Dumra venue at 11:55 a.m.

The Chief Minister is going to speak at the election rally from noon to 1:30 p.m. There is a half-hour time slot from 1:30 to 2:00 pm.
After the rally, CM Sharma will leave the site at 2:05 PM and arrive at Dumra Helipad at 2:10 PM. He is supposed to leave for Patna at 2:15 p.m. and get there by 2:50 p.m. He is supposed to leave Jay Prakash Narayan Airport in Patna at 2:55 pm and be back to Jaipur Airport by 4:25 pm tonight evening.
The Rashtriya Lok Morcha, which is part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) together with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janata Dal (United), Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), released their second and last list of candidates on Thursday.
The party’s most recent list names former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Rameshwar Kumar Mahto as its candidate for the Bajpatti constituency and Madan Chaudhary as its candidate for the Paru constituency. The party has already chosen candidates for all six of the seats it will run for in the next elections.
The party had already put out its first list of candidates on Wednesday, though. State General Secretary Subhash Chandravanshi’s official statement says that Tittu is running for office in the Basopatti constituency in the Siwan district. Mayank Anand is running for office in Madhubani, and Alok Kumar Singh is running for office in the Dinara constituency in Rohtas district.
Prashant Kumar Paswan from Ujiarpur in Samastipur, Meenakshi from Sasaram in Rohtas, and another candidate named Tittu from Paroo in Muzaffarpur are also on the list.
The party added that Kushwaha, who has been talking to the BJP about seat-sharing and coordination in Bihar before the elections, endorsed the list.
At the same time, the Congress party put out its first list of 48 candidates for the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chairman, Rajesh Ram, will run for the Kutumba Assembly seat, while the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, will run for the Kadwa constituency, according to an official release dated Thursday.
There are 48 candidates in total. The first part of the elections will include 24 candidates, while the second phase will have 24 candidates. The party claimed that they would release the other names in due time.

The Central Election Committee (CEC) approved the list, which includes Jayesh Mangal Singh from Bagaha, Amit Giri from Nautan, Abhishek Ranjan from Chanpatia, Wasi Ahmed from Bettiah, Amit Kumar Singh “Tunna” from Riga, Dr. Chandan Yadav from Khagaria, and Ajeet Kumar Sharma from Bhagalpur.
On November 6 and 11, Bihar will hold elections in two parts. The results will be made public on November 14. The last day to file nominations for the first phase is October 17.
