Uttarakhand CM Dhami hands appointment letters to 1,456 candidates, stressing transparent hiring and ongoing education reforms in the state.

Uttarakhand CM Dhami gave appointment letters to 1,456 applicants at Doon Medical College in Patel Nagar on Tuesday. These were 1,347 Assistant Teachers (L.T.) chosen by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission and 109 Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers chosen by the Public Service Commission.

The Chief Minister congratulated each and every one of the new hires, saying that this moment is a major turning point in their life and that it also sets the groundwork for the state’s prosperous future. He expressed confidence that the recently chosen candidates would establish new standards of excellence in their respective professions and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with total dedication, transparency, and a sense of commitment.

The most important foundation of state governance, according to the chief minister, is the administrative structure. The Secretariat, which formulates policies, makes decisions, and plans the implementation of development projects, can be thought of as the brain of the state’s governance.

Review Officers are essential to the efficacy of this system. He went on to say that a child’s life is improved and that they are able to contribute significantly to society and the country when they acquire a high-quality education. Teachers have a responsibility to assist children become good citizens by teaching them a good education and fostering in them a sense of obligation to the country and society.

The Chief Minister went on to say that the state administration is constantly striving to modernize and improve the quality of the educational system under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At every level, significant reforms are being implemented, ranging from digitalization to bettering school infrastructure. A number of important actions have been taken to improve the state’s hiring procedure’s impartiality and transparency.

He pointed out that over 26,000 young people have been hired for government positions in the past four years, which is more than twice as many as were appointed during the duration of prior administrations since the state’s founding. Today, a transparent, merit-based system is helping young people land government employment.

He mentioned a recent cheating incidence at a Haridwar exam center and said the government acted quickly to arrest the culprits and establish a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the situation. The exam has been canceled in order to safeguard the interests of the young people and in response to their request for a CBI investigation.

In order to reassure the young people that all of their justifiable demands will be fulfilled, the Chief Minister further said he personally visited the protest site.

According to Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, the Education Department would continue its hiring process and shortly make appointments for Class IV, BRP, CRP, and elementary teacher positions. According to him, all recently hired teachers are assigned to isolated locations where they will have to perform forced duty for a few years.
