CM Dhami stated that over the past four years, 26,500 youth in Uttarakhand have secured govt jobs, more than twice the number achieved by previous administrations.

In Uttarakhand, 26,500 young people have obtained govt jobs in the last four years, more than twice as many as during previous administrations, according to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

Dhami said this as he handed out appointment letters to 1,456 recently chosen applicants, including 1,347 Assistant Teachers (LT) chosen by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission and 109 Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers chosen by the State Public Service Commission.

He claimed that under previous administrations, the cheating mafia thrived and recruitment procedures were rife with bribes, manipulation, and corruption.

According to him, his government’s strict anti-cheating regulations have made the system transparent and allowed worthy people to win several positions based only on their qualifications.

“These are concrete proof, not merely statistics. In just four years, we have created more than twice as many jobs than prior administrations since the establishment of the state,” Dhami stated.

According to him, the opposition is unhappy that youngsters from regular households are suddenly getting government positions based only on their qualifications.

“On every topic, some of our opponents are quick to criticize us. They have no truth to share, so they fabricate arguments. “There is absolutely no problem,” he stated.

In order to mislead the young people, Dhami also brought up a recent event in Haridwar in which a candidate allegedly gave 12 questions to his sister over a mobile phone from an exam center. He claimed that the occurrence was misrepresented as a paper leak.

He claimed that the same people accused him of caving in after he consented to a CBI investigation at the request of the students.

The chief minister reiterated that his administration will not permit any plot to succeed and is dedicated to safeguarding the youth’s future.

Protests were sparked last month when three pages of a question paper from the graduate-level exam administered by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission were leaked. Later, the test was canceled, and a CBI investigation was mandated.
