The Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, advocated for the development of a profitable agricultural sector through the promotion of increased collaboration between the state and Argentina .

While engaging with a delegation from Centro Agrotechnico Regional, Argentina, the Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the faculty and students of this esteemed institution will be visiting the Punjab Agriculture University until October 17.

According to him, agriculture is the foundation of the Argentine economy, with a particular emphasis on livestock and cereal production, which has rendered Argentina a prominent global food producer.

These students, who have been studying agriculture as a subject in their institutions, are on a visit to familiarize themselves with the modern agricultural practices that are prevalent in the state, according to Mann.

The long-standing relationship between Argentina and Punjab was emphasized by the Chief Minister, who also stated that it could be mutually advantageous for both parties, as agriculture is a critical component of both economies.

Punjab and Argentina can collaborate in the agricultural sector by promoting bilateral cooperation, according to him. It is encouraging to discover that a delegation from Argentina will conduct an annual study tour of the Punjab Agriculture University, according to Mann.

Similarly, the Chief Minister stated that a delegation from the PAU will tour Argentina annually to enhance the expertise of the university’s students in the agricultural sector.

In Argentina and Punjab, the challenges and solutions to agriculture are identical, he stated. He expressed optimism that this collaboration will significantly contribute to the profitability of agriculture.

Mann also briefed the visiting delegation on the state’s extensive cultural heritage and encouraged them to observe it during their current excursion.
