DTC plans to launch e-bus services to Noida’s Jewar Airport to boost NCR connectivity. Services will begin once the new electric bus fleet arrives.

The NCR’s connection would be enhanced by the DTC’s intention to run e-buses to Noida Airport. Now that Jewar Airport is up and running, more passengers should start arriving. In light of this, the DTC is thinking about running e-buses to Noida Airport.

Discussions to run e-buses to the future Jewar International Airport in Noida are part of the Delhi Transport Corporation’s (DTC) quest to improve public transportation connectivity in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Although there is currently good connection from Delhi to Gurugram and Delhi Airport with the current bus services, officials at the DTC bus center in Sector 16A stated that plans are underway to accommodate the increasing demand for transportation to Jewar Airport once it opens.

“It is anticipated that Jewar International Airport will see a sharp increase in usage in the upcoming years,” DTC officials stated. “We have started discussions to implement e-bus services to guarantee passengers have a convenient and sustainable way to travel while keeping plans in mind.”

According to the officials, once the DTC receives the new fleet of electric buses, the e-buses will start operating.
