Although Tejashwi has been in charge of the alliance for years, the opposition has not yet named a candidate for chief minister.

Several leaders, including RJD national general secretary Alok Mehta and Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP) president Mukesh Sahni, affirmed that the formula will be revealed within the next two days after attending the meeting at Tejashwi’s home. “But pardon me for giving away the specifics. The RJD, the Congress, three Left-leaning parties, and the Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP), led by former state minister Mukesh Sahni, make up the opposition INDIA Bloc. He added that if the “vote chori” had not taken place, the alliance would have been in power.
