The government official was transported to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital with a hand fracture among other injuries. He’s getting treatment.

New Delhi:  A 33-year-old government official was reportedly hurt after he fell from Shastri Bhawan’s seventh floor on Monday while attempting to flee a monkey attack, according to authorities. The officer was near a balcony on a phone call when he was abruptly attacked by a monkey.

The Central Secretariat Service officer, Deepak Khoda, was apparently shocked to see the cash, took a step back to protect himself, lost his balance, and fell from the seventh storey of the building.

He was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital right away after suffering several injuries, including a fracture to his hand, where he is presently receiving treatment.

The event is being investigated by the police. According to officials, the sequence of events is being determined by analyzing CCTV footage and questioning on-scene witnesses.
