Delhi, New Delhi: The first-look image for legendary actor Akshaye Khanna’s role as the mysterious “Asuraguru Shukracharya” in his next movie “Mahakali” was released by director Prasanth Varma on Tuesday. Khanna is unrecognizable in the poster as a strong avatar.
It is noteworthy that Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna, who most recently starred with Vicky Kaushal in Laxman Utekar’s action epic “Chaava,” makes his Telugu debut in this film. Akshaye was the character of Aurangzeb in Chaava.

Social media users reacted quickly to Akshaye Khanna’s appearance, with many pointing out that he looked a lot like Ashwatthama from Kalki 2898 AD, played by Amitabh Bachchan. According to one user, “Ashwathama look amitabh bachchan.” An other person added, “Thought Ashwathama Looks Same.”

Puja Aparna Kolluru is the director, Prasanth Varma is the creator, and Riwaz Ramesh Duggal is the producer of the Telugu-language movie. The Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which also contains the films “Hanu Man,” “Jai Hanuman,” “Adhira,” starring Dasari Kalyan, and an untitled movie starring Mokshagna Teja, is home to the movie “Mahakali.”
