BJP leaders, ministers, and thousands of members attended as Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva marked the opening of the new party office.

New Delhi:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to open the Delhi BJP new office on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. JP Nadda, the party’s national president, will also attend the event. Additionally, Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs, council members, party workers, Delhi president Minister Rekha Gupta, and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdev will be present at the occasion. The new office, which was constructed near the BJP’s national headquarters, has taken the position of the previous state office, which was situated on Pandit Pant Marg. The opening, which takes place on the seventh day of Navratri, marks a significant turning point for the Delhi BJP, which has up till now operated out of temporary or rented facilities.

Recognize the new Delhi BJP office

1. With a built-up area of 30,000 square feet, the Delhi BJP’s new office is situated on an 825 square meter land. Two basement floors for parking are also included in the five-story structure.
2. Tall pillars at the façade and entryway are part of the design, which also features elements of South Indian architecture. In addition to having contemporary amenities, the building was meant to be environmentally sustainable.
3. There is a canteen, reception area, and conference room on the ground floor. An auditorium with 300 seats is located on the first floor.
4. The third story is reserved for vice presidents, general secretaries, and secretaries, while the second floor has the offices of various party cells and employees.
5. The general secretary (organization) and the president of the Delhi BJP are assigned to the top floor. Rooms for state-level in-charge leaders and Delhi MPs are also included.
6. At a cost of Rs 2.23 crore, the project offers a lot more room than the current workplace.

Party members were congratulated by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on the completion of the new office. He recalled the June 9, 2023, ‘bhoomi pujan’ ceremony conducted by JP Nadda, the national head of the BJP. “Ajmeri Gate served as the party’s first office. For almost 35 years, it operated out of 14 Pandit Pant Marg until being moved to Rakabganj Road. The office will now be located on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in the new building. Though difficult at times, the journey is amazing,” Sachdeva remarked. Senior BJP officials, Union ministers, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and thousands of party members will all be present for the inaugural ceremony.
