Delhi MP, Ramveer Singh Bidhuri announces ₹10 crore for Tughlakabad’s development with solar power under PM Surya Ghar Yojana to boost infrastructure.

On Saturday, Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri declared that Rs 10 crore would be used to develop Delhi’s Tughlakabad. The announcement was given at the Shiv Mandir Barat Ghar during the opening of a registration camp for solar power connections under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (free energy scheme), which was organized by BSES.

According to BSES CEO Abhishek Ranjan, residents of the camp enrolled for solar power connections under the program, which offers a subsidy of Rs 1,08,000 for a 3-kilowatt connection. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Delhi Jal Board, and the Chief Minister’s Development Fund will provide the development funding, MP Bidhuri continued.

Present were representatives from the Delhi government, the Delhi Jal Board, and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, who immediately addressed local concerns. BJP District President Maya Bisht, nominated councillor Rohtas Kumar Advocate, Central Zone DC Shashwat Saurabh, SDM, Additional Chief Engineer of Delhi Jal Board, District Vice President Amit Bidhuri, and Mandal President Anil Bidhuri were among the dignitaries present.

Through better development and solar electricity connections, the project seeks to strengthen Tughlakabad’s village infrastructure and encourage the use of renewable energy sources, which will benefit the locals.
