Delhi Traffic detours at key intersections like Kranti Chowk, Patel Chest, and Hindu College Red Light; emergency vehicles allowed access when needed.

The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of the DUSU Election 2025 vote count on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Delhi University’s North Campus. It is advised that between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM, traffic flow will be impacted on several important roadways, such as Prof. N.D. Kapoor Marg, Guru Teg Bahadur Marg, Satyawati Marg, Sudhir Bose Marg, and Chhatra Marg.

Temporary Closes: 

There are temporary closures planned for G.C. Narang Marg and Chhatra Marg. Important intersections like Kranti Chowk, Patel Chest, St. Stephen’s College Red Light, Hindu College Red Light, and the roads leading to Mall Road will all see traffic detours. When necessary, emergency vehicles will be permitted entry.

Different Paths: 

In order to reduce traffic, alternate routes have been designed. The Arts Faculty will be reached by detouring traffic from Mall Road or Vijay Nagar Marg by Patel Chest, Guru Teg Bahadur Marg, and Sudhir Bose Marg/Sant Kirpal Singh Marg.
Indian College Red Light, Ramjas College Red Light, and Guru Teg Bahadur Marg will be the new routes for vehicles arriving from MCD Chowk, Malkaganj, or Banta Park.
The impacted roads should be avoided, roadside parking should be avoided, and drivers should heed the instructions of traffic officials. On election day, commuters are asked to exercise patience and follow traffic laws to guarantee efficient travel.
