In order to enhance service responsiveness, Vodafone Idea will integrate TCS’s flagship products across consumer touchpoints as part of this agreement.

Delhi, New Delhi: Vodafone Idea has selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the biggest provider of IT services in India, to revamp its business support system. The five-year alliance will use an AI-driven, future-ready platform to unlock new capabilities in customer experience, according to a news statement released Thursday.

The platform will prioritize personalization, automation, intelligence, and speeding up the introduction of new goods and services. The press announcement said, “Tata Consultancy Services has partnered with Vodafone Idea to transform their business support system through an AI-driven and future-ready platform,” but it did not specify the deal’s size.

TCS’s flagship products will be used by Vodafone Idea.

TCS’s key products, TCS TwinX and TCS HOBS, will serve as the foundation for the change. TCS HOBS will serve as the digital foundation for business support systems, promoting flexibility, dependability, and smooth integration across client touchpoints, according to the release. In order to help Vodafone Idea improve service responsiveness and provide individualized interactions, TCS TwinX will supplement this with intelligence and scenario simulation driven by AI/ML.

The goal of integrating these two products is to create a unified platform that will enhance service delivery, guarantee dependable performance, and provide the flexibility to swiftly adjust to shifting client demands.

“We are setting a new standard to deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized digital experiences by modernizing our BSS platforms embedded with AI-driven innovation,” said Jagbir Singh, Chief Technology Officer at Vodafone Idea.

According to TCS President and Country Head-India Business Ujjwal Mathur, this transformation initiative expands on the company’s 15-year partnership with Vodafone Idea. “This initiative marks a pivotal step in driving AI-led transformation of Vi’s core business support system,” Mathur stated.

In the meantime, Indore became the first city in Madhya Pradesh to receive Vi 5G when Vodafone Idea (Vi) introduced its 5G services there on September 3, 2025. Just one week prior, on August 25, 2025, the business launched its 5G services in Siliguri, West Bengal, which was followed by this deployment.
