New Delhi: Today is the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and women nationwide were given a unique present in honor of his birthday. The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan is a statewide initiative that was started by the prime minister and will run from September 17 to October 2. Over a million health camps will be held nationwide as part of the project, with an emphasis on women’s, adolescents’, and children’s health.
On His 75th Birthday, PM Modi Launches Historic Health Drive for Women and Children
On his 75th birthday today, PM Modi introduced the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan. In order to improve the health and nutrition services for women, adolescents, and children nationwide, this historic program is being introduced. This campaign will be the largest health initiative for women and children in history. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Child Development will work together to carry out this Abhiyaan. This campaign will begin today, September 17, and run through October 2.

The prime minister also simultaneously gave cash incentives to over 10 lakh recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) today.
The country will host over a million health camps as part of this program. Every day, all government health facilities will host these camps. Women’s gynecologists and children’s specialists will be present in these camps. There will also be dentists in the camp in addition to this.
These programs will help children who have not received all of their vaccinations. Adolescent girls will have their anemia screened for and treated. Furthermore, mental health issues will also be addressed.
As part of this Abhiyaan, pregnant and lactating mothers nationwide would be supported through a special registration push under PMMVY.
Poshan Maah, the eighth Rashtriya
As a result, the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah will feature activities focused on topics like reducing sugar and oil intake to prevent obesity, early childhood education and care, infant and young child feeding practices, involving men in women’s and children’s nutrition and care across Anganwadi Centers across the country, supporting local food and diet systems, convergent actions, and digitization. By combining maternity benefits, nutrition, and health, the program reaffirms that successful families and a stronger country are built on the health of women.
