The Vivo X300 Ultra India launch has finally been confirmed, and it will not arrive alone. Vivo is set to introduce the Vivo X300 FE alongside its flagship model, with both devices already appearing on official listings and Flipkart—clear signs that the launch is just around the corner.

Familiar Design with a Clear Focus

The Vivo X300 Ultra India launch brings a design that closely matches its global variant. The device features a large circular camera module, reinforcing its identity as a camera-first smartphone. In contrast, the X300 FE adopts a more conventional look with a horizontal pill-shaped camera layout, aligning with mainstream flagship design trends.

Despite these differences, both smartphones are centered around photography. Vivo continues its partnership with Zeiss, making imaging performance a key highlight for both models.

External Lens Kit Stands Out

A major talking point ahead of the Vivo X300 Ultra India launch is the external telephoto converter. This attachable lens accessory enhances zoom capabilities, offering something rarely seen in typical smartphones.

While its everyday usability may be debated, it clearly shows Vivo’s intent to push the boundaries of mobile photography and stand out in the premium segment.

Triple Cameras with Zeiss Optics

Both the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE are expected to feature triple rear camera setups tuned with Zeiss optics. The Ultra model is positioned as the more advanced photography device, while the FE offers a slightly simplified version of the same concept.

The X300 FE is also expected to launch in multiple colour options, including a green variant that has already been teased.

Strong Performance and Battery Life

The Vivo X300 Ultra India launch also highlights powerful hardware. The Ultra variant is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes with a large 6,600mAh battery.

The X300 FE, on the other hand, is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor along with a 6,500mAh battery. Both devices promise strong performance and long battery life, making them competitive beyond just camera capabilities.

Expected Pricing in India

Based on global pricing, the Vivo X300 Ultra India launch is likely to position the device in the premium segment. The Ultra model starts at around CNY 6,999 (approximately ₹95,000), with higher variants exceeding ₹1 lakh.

The Vivo X300 FE, which has already launched in Russia, is priced at around ₹71,000 for the base variant. Indian pricing may vary slightly but is expected to remain in a similar range.

What This Launch Means

The Vivo X300 Ultra India launch clearly shows Vivo doubling down on its camera-focused strategy in the premium smartphone market. The Ultra model targets photography enthusiasts with advanced features and accessories, while the FE provides a more accessible alternative.

The key question is whether users in India are ready for a more camera-centric and slightly modular smartphone experience. Vivo is making a strong bet—and this launch could define how well that strategy resonates with consumers.
