Motorola Edge 70 Pro leak reveals performance specs, design options, and India launch hints

Motorola is gearing up to launch its next premium smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, in the Indian market. The device has already been spotted on Geekbench, revealing key specifications including performance details, RAM, and operating system, giving a clear hint that the launch is just around the corner.

The upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Pro is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box, making it one of the first smartphones to feature the latest Android version. The device is also listed with 12GB of RAM, indicating a strong focus on high-end multitasking and smooth performance for users.

According to Geekbench listings, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8000-series chipset, likely the Dimensity 8500. The processor configuration includes a combination of efficiency and performance cores, designed to handle demanding applications and gaming with ease. The GPU support comes from the Mali-G720 MC8, which further boosts graphics performance.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Geekbench Performance Scores Reveal Strong Power and Efficiency

In benchmark tests, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro scored around 1,727 in single-core performance and 6,563 in multi-core performance, suggesting strong overall speed and efficiency suitable for heavy usage, including gaming and multitasking.

On the design front, leaks suggest that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro will feature premium finishes such as tailored fabric, satin-luxe, and marble textures. The smartphone is expected to launch in Blue, Green, and White color options, offering users multiple style choices.

 

The device is also likely to feature a curved display with a punch-hole front camera, giving it a modern flagship look. Additionally, reports suggest HDR10+ certification, which means users can expect vibrant colors and enhanced contrast for media consumption.

While camera specifications are not officially confirmed yet, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is rumored to include a triple rear camera setup housed in a square module, focusing on delivering improved photography performance.

Although Motorola has not announced the official launch date, the appearance of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro on Geekbench and e-commerce teasers indicates that the India launch is imminent. Pricing and final specifications are expected to be revealed soon, making it one of the most anticipated upcoming smartphones in its segment.
