The Oppo K15 Series has officially debuted in China, with Oppo unveiling two new smartphones—Oppo K15 Pro+ and Oppo K15 Pro—alongside the Oppo Watch X3. With this launch, Oppo is clearly targeting mobile gamers and power users, equipping both devices with advanced cooling systems and high-performance hardware.

The newly introduced Oppo K15 Series stands out for its next-generation active cooling fans, designed to maintain optimal performance during extended gaming sessions and heavy workloads.

Display and Performance

The Oppo K15 Series brings impressive display technology across both models. The Oppo K15 Pro+ features a large 6.78-inch Full-HD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 330Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. Meanwhile, the Oppo K15 Pro offers a slightly smaller 6.59-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits brightness.

Under the hood, the Oppo K15 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset clocked at up to 3.73GHz, making it the more powerful variant. The standard K15 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8500 Super processor. Both devices come with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and offer storage options up to 512GB, with the Pro+ featuring faster UFS 4.1 storage compared to UFS 3.1 on the K15 Pro.

Camera Capabilities

In terms of photography, the Oppo K15 Series features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and support for up to 10x digital zoom. This is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 116-degree field of view.

On the front, both models include a 16-megapixel camera capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps, catering to selfie enthusiasts and content creators.

Oppo K15 Battery and Charging

Battery performance is a major highlight of the lineup. The Oppo K15 Pro+ packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The Oppo K15 Pro, while slightly smaller, still impresses with a 7,500mAh battery and 80W fast charging.

Design and Features

The Oppo K15 Series also brings a premium design and modern features. The Pro+ variant is slightly larger and heavier, while the K15 Pro offers a more compact form factor. Both devices include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

Connectivity options are extensive, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and support for multiple navigation systems such as NavIC.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo K15 Pro+ starts at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 50,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,199 (around Rs 57,000). The Oppo K15 Pro is more affordable, starting at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 41,000), with the top variant priced at CNY 3,499 (around Rs 47,000).

With powerful chipsets, advanced cooling systems, high refresh rate displays, and massive batteries, the Oppo K15 Series positions itself as a strong contender in the premium mid-range segment. It is especially appealing to gamers and performance-focused users looking for a feature-rich smartphone experience.
