Nothing has officially launched its latest true wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3a), bringing upgrades in audio quality, connectivity, battery life, and smart features. The new earbuds come with active noise cancellation (ANC), Bluetooth 6.0 support, LDAC compatibility, and a new Audio Snapshot feature designed to make voice recording easier.
The company is expanding its audio lineup with a focus on delivering premium features at a competitive price point.
Nothing Ear (3a) Price and Availability
The Nothing Ear (3a) has been launched in global markets with a starting price of EUR 99 (approximately Rs. 10,800) in Europe, GBP 99 in the UK, and $99 in the US. In Japan, the earbuds are priced at JPY 15,800.
The earbuds are available through Nothing’s official website in four colour options: Black, White, Pink, and Yellow. The company has started the global rollout, while details about availability in India are yet to be announced.
Audio Features and Specifications
The earbuds feature a 12mm dynamic driver paired with a PMI and TPU diaphragm for enhanced sound quality. They support a wide frequency response range of 20Hz to 40,000Hz and come with LDAC Hi-Res Wireless certification for high-quality audio streaming.
Through the Nothing X app, users can customise their listening experience with Custom EQ, Advanced EQ settings, personal audio profiles, and Static Spatial Audio for a more immersive sound experience.
Advanced Noise Cancellation and Connectivity
The Nothing Ear (3a) comes with Adaptive ANC technology that can reduce external noise by up to 45dB across a wide frequency range. Each earbud features three microphones that improve call quality and support environmental noise cancellation.
The earbuds also include Transparency Mode, allowing users to hear their surroundings without removing the earbuds. With Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, users get improved wireless performance, up to 15 metres of range, dual-device connectivity, and support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs.
Battery Life and Smart Features
Battery performance is one of the key highlights of the new earbuds. Each earbud includes a 55mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 500mAh battery.
According to Nothing, users can get up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned off using AAC codec. With the charging case, total battery life can reach up to 42 hours. When ANC is enabled, playback drops to around six hours, with a combined battery backup of up to 25 hours.

Audio Snapshot Brings a New Recording Experience
