Motorola is making a strong push into the foldable smartphone market with its latest device, the Moto Razr Fold, which appears to be its most ambitious release so far. After showcasing the device at MWC 2026, the company has now begun its global rollout, starting with pre-reservations in China.
Pre-Reservations and Launch Plans
Pre-reservations for the Moto Razr Fold are now live through Lenovo’s online store in China. The device is available in Pearl White and Gentleman’s Black, offering a single premium configuration with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Meanwhile, Motorola has also hinted at its UK launch, where orders are expected to open from April 10. Buyers in the UK will receive the Moto Pen Ultra bundled with the device. Additionally, a special IFA World Cup 26 Edition with football-inspired design elements is also in the works.
Large Displays and Flagship Performance
The Moto Razr Fold stands out with its impressive display setup. It features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover screen, while unfolding reveals a spacious 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED inner display, offering a tablet-like experience. This marks Motorola’s entry into the book-style foldable category.

Moto Razr Fold Camera Capabilities
Motorola has placed significant focus on camera performance in the Moto Razr Fold. It comes equipped with a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, users get a 32MP front camera on the cover screen and a 20MP sensor on the inner display.
Battery and Build
The Moto Razr Fold packs a large 6,000mAh battery, which is notable for a foldable device. It supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, ensuring fast and convenient power-ups. The device also carries an IP49 rating, offering protection against dust and water exposure.
Pricing and Availability
In the UK, the Moto Razr Fold is priced at EUR 1,999 (approximately ₹2.14 lakh), with the Moto Pen Ultra included. The device will be launched across multiple regions, including Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
