Peravoor, Kerala : Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, during the Priyanka Gandhi Kerala Assembly Campaign 2026, alleged that the CPI(M)-led LDF has struck a “deal” with the BJP ahead of the April 9 Assembly elections in Kerala. Addressing a corner meeting in Peravoor, the Wayanad MP accused the ruling front of compromising on ideology, accountability, and responsibility to maintain power for over a decade.

Speaking at the event, Priyanka Gandhi highlighted that the LDF’s alleged deal with the BJP, a party that she said “harasses minorities, especially Christians and their nuns,” undermines the principles of governance. “Despite the massive theft in Sabarimala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not utter a single word, which clearly points to the LDF-BJP understanding,” she claimed during the Priyanka Gandhi Kerala Assembly Campaign 2026.

She also emphasized that when citizens raise their voices against the BJP-led central government, they are often targeted with CBI, ED, or income tax cases. “There is no such case against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, which shows a stark difference in governance,” Priyanka Gandhi noted during the campaign.
