Uttarakhand : Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami attended the idol installation ceremony at the Gurudev Samadhi Temple in Haridwar on Friday, alongside Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The event saw the presence of senior political leaders and spiritual dignitaries from across India.
Union Minister ML Khattar, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, and spiritual leader Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj were also in attendance. The ceremony attracted saints, seers, and devotees, marking a significant gathering celebrating religious and cultural heritage.

During the ‘Sant Sammelan’, Yogi Adityanath highlighted the transformation of Uttar Pradesh, stating that the state has overcome past challenges and is now progressing economically without incidents of curfews or riots.

Earlier, on Thursday, CM Pushkar Dhami participated in the ‘Sant Sammelan’ at the Saptarishi Ashram Ground near Bharat Mata Temple. He remarked that the saints, spiritual leaders, and devotees gathered are living embodiments of Sanatan consciousness. By convening in the sacred Saptarishi region along the Ganga, they make a vital contribution to the nation and its cultural values.
