CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launches ‘Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility’ and Green Cess for clean governance and sustainable development in Uttarakhand.
The Vigilance Awareness Campaign, with the subject “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility,” was launched Monday at the State Secretariat in Dehradun by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami. Up until State Foundation Day on November 9, the statewide campaign will use a variety of media to promote honesty and openness within government agencies.
“Vigilance: Our Joint Obligation” to Enhance Public Trust
After launching the campaign, Mr. Dhami addressed the media, emphasizing the government’s steadfast dedication to combating corruption and guaranteeing accountability in public service. He reiterated that corrupt activities will not be tolerated and asked all government officials to operate with the utmost integrity and transparency.
Mr. Dhami stressed that stern action will be taken against anyone found guilty of carelessness or malfeasance, and that investigations into corruption cases will continue uninterrupted. According to him, the campaign’s goal is to establish an ecology of transparent governance where people can carry out their duties without hindrance or harassment.

Dhami’s Demand for Group Accountability in Government
The “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility” campaign officially launched today. Mr. Dhami declared that no one who engages in corruption or shows negligence would escape punishment.

Uttarakhand Celebrates 25 Years with a Green Step Forward
In a major statement marking the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand’s creation, the state government has chosen to impose a “Green Cess” on cars coming into the state from other regions of the nation. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the program aims to fortify Uttarakhand’s dedication to cleaner air and environmental sustainability.
