Uttarakhand Cabinet approves VAT cut on natural gas, raises artist pensions, and mandates equal pay for medical staff at Srinagar Medical College.
The Uttarakhand Cabinet met today. Eleven suggestions were considered during this conference. The Cabinet Sub-Committee has been tasked with overseeing the subcompliant employees’ equal pay for equal effort.
These choices were made.
- Finance: A plan to lower the 20 percent VAT on natural gas to 5 percent.
- Agriculture: In Dharali and the surrounding catastrophe zones, Royal Delicious apples cost Rs 51 per kg, while other Red Delicius apples cost Rs 45 per kg.
- Culture: The monthly pension for writers and artists was raised from Rs 3,000 to Rs 6,000.
- Housing: The employed architect may pass the map to the low-risk building or small commercial building in accordance with the Center’s guidance under the Ease of Doing Business. It originated with the deviation, but now the cabinet gave its approval.
- Industrial Development: There are now more MSME units and industry units on the ground.

- The Bamboo and Filament Development Council now has a new organizational structure. arrangement to prevent technical staff from being outsourced rather than subcontracted. The 13 positions will be outsourced or contracted.
- Ayushmann and Atal Ayushmann will function entirely under insurance. The hybrid mode will be used by the golden card. Less than five lakh would be paid for claim insurance. Through the trust mode, claims with a user of five lakh will be accessible. The employee contribution will rise from approximately Rs 250 to Rs 450 due to inflation.
- The Public Works and Irrigation Department’s work charge will receive a pension.
- The Uttarakhand Medical Education Service Amendment Rules have been approved. Super Specialty Services departments have also been created by raising the age of professors and associate professors from fifty to sixty-two. Four jobs have been created for the Swami Ram Cancer Institute in Haldwani.
- Equal work, equal compensation is a requirement for 277 workers at Srinagar Medical College. The Cabinet Subcommittee received it.
- Specialist physicians will receive an extra 50% allowance if they work in remote or difficult-to-reach locations. It will benefit about 300 doctors.
