Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami attends Devbhoomi Cultural Festival 2025 in Badrinath and approves major infrastructure and tourism development projects.

Pushkar Singh, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, was present at the Devbhoomi Cultural Festival 2025 on Sunday in Badrinath. According to him, the festival would revitalize the local economy and tourism industry.

Additionally, CM Dhami prayed at Badrinath Dham.

The Indian Army and the Uttarakhand government worked together to organize the event. Both locals and visitors came in great numbers to see the festivities. Villagers and regional craftspeople have set up a variety of booths, exhibiting a lively exhibition of spirituality, cultural heritage, and community involvement.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “I am convinced that this event would not only provide a wonderful platform to display the rich cultural traditions of our border region, but will also inject new energy into the local economy and tourism. Additionally, it will improve the army’s collaboration with the local populace. I would want to sincerely thank the Indian Army, the Tourism Department, and all of the organizers who helped make this festival a success. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, special efforts are being made to develop border communities. The road system is being reinforced. Additionally, trade and tourism have benefited.

In the Tehri Garhwal district’s Dhanaulti Assembly constituency, CM Dhami approved the provision of Rs 4.16 crore on Saturday for the reconstruction and enhancement of the Laloori-Ghiakoti-Kyarda Motor Road.

According to a release, the Chief Minister also approved Rs 4.57 crore for the construction of the Rankauchi Temple in Champawat through the Uttarakhand Project Development and Construction Corporation Ltd.

Additionally, the Chief Minister approved Rs 51 crore for the construction of 120 Type-II quarters (Block-C) at the same location, Rs 5 crore for the construction of a new drinking water project (including a new pipeline and overhead tank) at Police Lines, Race Course, Dehradun, and Rs 19 crore for the construction of a multi-story building with 20 Type-3 and 20 Type-4 residential quarters at the Lok Seva Aayog’s Bhagirath residential complex. In addition, Rs 54 crore has been sanctioned for 120 Type-II residential quarters at IRB Second Battalion, Dehradun, along with Rs 13.73 crore under the State Plan for the construction of multifunctional buildings (including electrification) at Raj Bhavan, Dehradun.
