CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Approves ₹271.33 Crore for Uttarakhand Roads, Drainage & Development Works

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami approves ₹271.33 crore for Uttarakhand’s roads, drainage, irrigation, Anganwadi upgrades, parking and flood protection projects.

A total of Rs 271.33 crore has been approved by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for state development projects. The Chief Minister has approved Rs 9.63 crore for the construction of a span prestrated bridge from Dunikhal to Ratighat motorway in Vikaskhand Betalghat, and Rs 10.28 crore for the fortification and renovation of Shaheed Balwant Singh Mehra Motor Road in Nainital Vidhan Sabha.

The chief minister has authorized the Dwarhat Vidhan Sabha’s 5.67 crore renovation of the Nagarjuna-Jalli motor route and the state plan’s 5.37 crore improvement of the motor road from Kasiyalekh in the Bageshwar Assembly. He has approved Rs 3.04 crore for the community hall and parking at the Nanda Devi Rajjat stop in Chamoli, and Rs 6.64 crore for the construction of multilevel parking from agriculture in the Champawat development block party.

These plans were accepted.

The Chief Minister has authorized schemes totaling Rs 61 crore for 33 NABARD-related Minor Irrigation Department projects and Rs 10 crore for the Child Development Department’s competent Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0 program. In addition, Rs 40 crore has been approved for Joshimath City’s drainage plan in Chamoli, and Rs 54 crore has been approved for the preparation of the DPR for the building of the sewerage system, household connection, and STP.

The first installment of the flood protection project for the village of Bishanpur on the left bank of the Kho River in Dugdda, Pauri Garhwal’s development block, has been approved by the Chief Minister at a cost of Rs 3.21 crore. He has given his approval to a plan for Rs 4.07 crore to build a vending zone in the Municipal Corporation of Nainital. Rs 58.42 crore has been approved by the Chief Minister for the Panchayati Raj Department’s Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan.

The democracy fighter honor pension for Munni, a Pauri native, has been approved.

Swa Mohan Singh Rawat, a native of Kunkaleshwar Pauri and the wife of Munni Devi, has been granted the Uttarakhand Democracy Fighter Samman Pension by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, effective December 9, 2023. Each month, they will receive Rs 20 lakh.
