Security tightened at Banda railway station after the Red Fort blast in Delhi. GRP, RPF, and civil police intensify checks, monitor entries, and enforce strict vigilance
The Banda railway station in Uttar Pradesh is now more alert in the wake of the car blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. In order to keep an eye on everything, the Government Railway Police (GRP) have increased their level of awareness. In addition to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the GRP, the civil police also screen suspects through daily checking drives.
All entrances and exits within the train station were closely monitored by the GRP on Tuesday. If a passenger tried to enter via using an unauthorized shortcut, they came under intense scrutiny. In addition, they were cautioned and told to only use the main gate to enter the train station.
