UPSRTC installs all-weather bulbs in Noida buses to improve safety and reduce winter fog hazards while lowering maintenance costs.
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has started the process of installing all-weather bulbs in all buses in the Noida area, or in Noida buses in order to reinforce the transportation system and guarantee passenger safety due to the district’s growing cold. As the temperature drops throughout the state, a layer of fog in the mornings and nights is making it harder to see on the highways, which may have an impact on bus operations.
This year, the district’s 305 company buses will get all-weather bulbs, officials said. Not only will these bulbs help in the winter when visibility is poor, but they will also benefit in the summer.
Officials claim that up until now, fog lights had to be installed on the buses annually during the winter, costing Rs 2,00,000 and requiring additional time and money for upkeep. The purpose of all-weather bulbs is to improve road visibility in low light, fog, and rainy circumstances.

The introduction of all-weather bulbs this year is expected to result in a significant decrease in future expenses.
In order to address the issue of visibility in the winter, authorities are constantly teaching drivers. Everyone has been told to just drive the buses at the slower, recommended speed.
