UP govt & AVPL launch Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra to train youth & women in agri-tech, precision farming, and rural drone businesses.
In keeping with its national goal of establishing “a drone entrepreneur in every village of India,” AVPL International has teamed up with the Uttar Pradesh government to introduce Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra at the village level throughout the state.
The program is being carried out under the CM Yuva Udhami Yojana, and as part of the program, chosen applicants will receive training, a drone, and a defined business plan. It is anticipated that this will make it possible for rural women and youth to launch profitable drone-based businesses in the fields of digital advising, agri-retail, and agricultural services.
The Uttar Pradesh government’s onboarding gives AVPL International’s rural expansion significant impetus. With 70 Centers of Excellence, the firm is currently active in 16 states. With Uttar Pradesh on board, AVPL will provide drone technology, precision agriculture solutions, digital advisory services, and sustainable revenue streams to thousands of rural business owners. Soon, the new centers will be set up on the ground.
Boosting India’s Drone Industry with International Education
To improve India’s home ecosystem, AVPL International’s leadership has been aggressively interacting with international drone innovation clusters.
Mr. Deep Sihag Sesai, the chairman and co-founder, is presently in Israel for a business trip to investigate precision farming techniques, agri-automation technology, and cutting-edge drone systems.
Dr. Preet has previously traveled to Romania and taken part in the Dubai Airshow. Developing a Rural Model That Is Scalable Across States
AVPL International is becoming a prominent facilitator of drone-assisted rural development with activities in Uttar Pradesh. The Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra model will provide the following and is intended to be duplicated in additional states:
- Precision farming services and drone spraying
- Training and certification for women and young people
- Farm advisory and digital agronomy
- Last-mile input support and agri-retail.
- New avenues for rural business owners to generate revenue
These facilities will assist farmers in implementing contemporary farming methods, increasing output, lowering input costs, and conducting business in safer, more environmentally friendly ways.
“We have a clear mission. We want at least one drone entrepreneur in every Indian hamlet who can use technology to revolutionize local agriculture. By giving rural women and youth access to the nation’s rapidly expanding drone ecosystem, the collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government brings us one step closer to achieving that objective.Dr. Preet Sandhu, Managing Director and co-founder of AVPL International, stated.
AVPL International is preparing India to become a global leader in drone-enabled agricultural transformation through its growing state alliances, international collaborations, and emphasis on indigenous innovation.
