Noida International Airport now has 10 permanent aerobridges for travelers and 2 cargo stands for efficient freight movement

Construction of Noida International Airport has reached its last phase as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s October 30 inauguration approaches. Important passenger and cargo facilities are finished, and quick work is being done to make sure everything is ready for launch.

To make passenger boarding easier, officials said ten permanent aerobridges have been constructed in the apron area next to the terminal building. Nine of these have already been finished. Easy boarding straight from the terminal is made possible by the folding aerobridges’ ability to move forward, backward, and adjust to various aircraft heights.

Furthermore, three makeshift aerobridges will be accessible by bus gates and can be attached to aircraft at any point within the apron area as needed.

Two special stands have been built across from the terminal building for cargo operations. These stands will manage freight coming into and going out of the 30-acre multimodal cargo hub at the airport.

For effective loading and unloading, a crane system will be used to position the aircraft at these stands. In order to facilitate the transfer of supply chain data for both local and foreign markets, the airport will also implement a single-window Airport Cargo Community System.

By installing cutting-edge ATRS baggage screening equipment, the Airport Authority has made passenger safety a top priority. The goal of the ATRS devices is to provide quicker and more precise examinations. In order to prevent the carriage of forbidden items including guns, explosives, sharp objects, or combustible materials, 13 operational security lanes will be in place.

Noida International Airport is ready to receive both domestic and foreign travelers later this month thanks to the installation of both temporary and permanent aerobridges, a contemporary cargo center, and cutting-edge security measures.
