CM Yogi Adityanath conducts Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur, personally listening to citizens and assuring prompt redressal of grievances.

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Gorakhpur on Tuesday and, after overnight stay at Gorakhnath Temple, conducted a Janta Darshan on Wednesday morning. Engaging sincerely with visitors seeking assistance, he reassured them, stating, “Rest assured, all concerns will be addressed effectively.” He instructed the officials present to handle every grievance with sensitivity and to ensure prompt, transparent, and effective resolution.

The Janta Darshan program, conducted at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan auditorium within the Gorakhnath Temple complex, involved the Chief Minister listening to the concerns of approximately 200 individuals.

A considerable number of women were present. Transitioning from one chair to another, he personally inquired of each individual, “From where have you come?” What is the nature of the issue? and paid close attention. He assured everyone that their concerns would be addressed and that there was no need for anyone to feel apprehensive. Handing over the applications to the officials, he directed them to provide prompt and satisfactory resolutions.

Upon obtaining reports of land encroachment, he mandated strict legal proceedings. In response to a woman’s report that her residence had been set ablaze, he promptly ordered measures to be taken against those accountable.

Numerous attendees requested financial aid for the treatment of severe maladies. The Chief Minister assured them that financial constraints would not impede anyone’s access to medical care. He directed officials to efficiently finalize the hospital estimate process and submit it to the government. He stated that sufficient financial assistance would be allocated from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund.

During his visit to Gorakhnath Temple, the Chief Minister adhered to his customary morning regimen. After offering prayers to Guru Gorakhnath and paying obeisance to his spiritual predecessor, the late Mahant Avaidyanath, he proceeded to tour the temple complex. He visited the cowshed, where he provided jaggery and roti to the cows and infants. Upon his arrival, peacocks encircled him; the Chief Minister softly stroked them and offered them roti.
