Rajasthan invests ₹1,200 crore in Ghiloth for a cutting-edge electric bus and charging infrastructure plant, boosting jobs and green mobility.

Jaipur: In the Ghiloth Industrial Area in the Alwar district, Rajasthan, which aims to play a significant role in India’s electric mobility revolution, green mobility will put up a sizable E-Bus and charging infrastructure manufacturing facility.

With a Rs 1,200 crore investment, the project aims to build one of the most cutting-edge e-bus manufacturing plants in the nation, increasing employment and promoting environmentally friendly transportation.

In addition to promoting environmentally friendly transportation, the project will establish Rajasthan as a leader in the “Make in India” movement, according to Industry Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

“The automotive industry has enormous growth potential, and we’ve streamlined regulations to draw in more capital. More than 500 people will be directly and indirectly employed by this project alone, he claimed.

For the project, PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has been granted 65.56 acres of land worth ₹208 crore by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).

Rathore emphasized that the facility will help fight rising pollution, provide new industry opportunities, and speed up Rajasthan’s shift to greener mobility. “With this plant, Rajasthan will become a center for e-mobility innovation and manufacturing,” he continued.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma recently met with representatives from PMI Electro Mobility, including MD Satish Kumar Jain, CEO Aanchal Jain, and Executive Director Gajendra Yadav, to talk about the company’s intentions for large-scale production and the implementation of green technologies.

The Industry Minister went on to say that these projects will help Rajasthan establish a new identity in the green transportation space, bolster its industrial ecosystem, and eventually generate thousands of new jobs.
