Health Minister Balbir Singh conducted an extensive tour of grain markets in Patiala Rural, including Dana Mandi on Sarhind Road, to review ongoing arrangements for Punjab Wheat Procurement 2026 amid adverse weather conditions.
He stated that despite bad weather, the Mann government remains fully committed to ensuring smooth procurement under Punjab Wheat Procurement 2026, and that no farmer will face any inconvenience during the procurement process.

During his visit, the Minister interacted with farmers, commission agents, and labourers, and reviewed on-ground arrangements to ensure timely lifting, adequate storage, and proper facilities across mandis involved in Punjab Wheat Procurement 2026.

Balbir Singh emphasized that the government is determined to purchase every single grain brought by farmers, reaffirming that Punjab Wheat Procurement 2026 is being handled with a farmer-first approach and full administrative support.
