The CM announced a total education budget of ₹19,279 crore for the 2026-27 financial year. Under the second phase of the Education Revolution, an additional ₹3,500 crore has been allocated to enhance teaching quality, modernize classrooms, and provide better learning resources. Punjab secured the first position in the National Achievement Survey, conducted by the central government, scoring 18% above the national average. Over the last three years, 740 students have cleared the JEE examination, while 1,284 students qualified for NEET in the past two years. These milestones showcase the tangible results of the Punjab Education Achievements in promoting excellence in competitive examinations.
