Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljeet Kaur laid the foundation stone for the Malout City Clean Water Project, a major initiative by the Mann government aimed at providing clean and safe drinking water to every household in Malout city. The project is set to be implemented at a cost of ₹16.25 crore.
Under the Malout City Clean Water Project, water will be supplied to homes through advanced pumping machines connected to the Sirhind Feeder, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted access to clean water for residents. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to improving public health and urban infrastructure.
ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਮਲੋਟ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ₹16.25 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ਼ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲ਼ੇ ਵਾਟਰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਨੀਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇੱਥੇ ਸਰਹਿੰਦ ਫੀਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਪਿੰਗ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਮਲੋਟ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਘਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ।
