Punjab Farmers Welfare Initiatives Ensure Fair Crop Prices and Improved Agricultural Support

Punjab : ‘AAP’ Punjab Farmers Wing Chairman Mahinder Singh Sidhu lauded the farmer-friendly initiatives of the Mann government, highlighting the positive impact on agriculture and crop procurement. The focus of his remarks was on the Punjab Farmers Welfare Initiatives, which aim to strengthen mandi operations, improve irrigation, and ensure fair crop pricing.

Sidhu mentioned, “The Punjab Farmers Welfare Initiatives include proper crop procurement arrangements in mandis, uninterrupted electricity supply for farming during the day, and improved water management through canal systems, leading to a rise in groundwater levels.”

He also emphasized that the government’s efforts to secure the highest prices for crops have significantly benefited farmers across Punjab. “The Punjab Farmers Welfare Initiatives are designed to support farmers in all aspects of agriculture, from procurement to irrigation, ensuring sustainable growth and prosperity,” Sidhu added.

Officials noted that the Punjab Farmers Welfare Initiatives have not only improved the operational efficiency of mandis but also enhanced overall farmer satisfaction and productivity, marking a significant milestone in Punjab’s agricultural development.
