Punjab celebrates the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with grand light and sound shows in Mohali, Amritsar, Ferozepur, and Sangrur.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Amritsar, Ferozepur, and Sangrur hosted enthralling light and sound displays on Tuesday as part of the events being planned by the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to mark the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, public officials, delegates, and a significant number of devotees enthusiastically participated in these sessions.
According to a government spokeswoman, a large sangat was drawn to the Saras Mela Ground in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for a big light and sound extravaganza. MLAs Kulwant Singh (Mohali) and Kuljeet Singh Randhawa (Dera Bassi), Advisor Tourism Deepak Bali, OSD (Media) to Chief Minister Punjab Amanjot Singh, District Planning Committee Chairperson Prabhjot Kaur, Punjab Youth Development Board Chairman Parminder Goldy, and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia were among those in attendance.

Similarly, Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO graced the exhibition at the Mela Ground on Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar. Dr. Baljit Kaur, Minister of Social Security, Women, and Child Development, attended the event at Cantonment Stadium in Ferozepur with the Sangat. Together, they watched the amazing show that highlighted the ultimate sacrifice and ageless philosophy of Guru Sahib.
Along with district officials and devotees, MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj was present during the light and sound performance at Ranbir College in Sangrur. The Punjab Government’s effort to honor Guru Sahib’s unmatched martyrdom with these imaginative and spiritually enlightening presentations was applauded by the Sangat.
Modern laser lighting and 3D projection technology were used in the light and sound performances to depict Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life story, philosophy, teachings, and ultimate sacrifice for the defense of humanity and faith.
