Punjab Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian visits Bhamian, reviews traffic and water projects, promises faster road expansion for better connectivity.

Ludhiana : Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian met with residents of Bhamian village and the adjacent colonies on Monday at Jamalpur Tirkoni Park in an effort to alleviate the persistent traffic congestion that locals experience.

Officials and Minister Mundian arrived at the location to observe the situation firsthand. Additionally, he engaged in direct discussions with locals to address the problem and carefully considered both short-term and long-term fixes, with a primary focus on enlarging the main access route to ease traffic congestion and enhance flow. In order to provide more room for a larger road, he also requested that the government intend to reduce the park area. He promised that our first focus is the citizens’ convenience and safety.

To guarantee better connectivity and lessen the daily commuting difficulties for residents of Bhamian and the surrounding districts, we will expedite the road expansion project.”

The ongoing building of a new water storage tank there was also inspected by the Minister. He gave an update on the project’s status, stressing the importance of finishing it on schedule to improve the local water supply. Concerned officials received directives to speed work while upholding the highest standards of quality.

According to Mundian, the Punjab government, which is headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to giving infrastructure development top priority, emphasizing inclusive and sustainable growth.
