Fatehgarh Sahib Shaheedi Sabha 2025 to run safely with 3,400 police, drones, CCTV, shuttle services, and geo-tagged parking, says Special DGP Arpit Shukla.
Prior to the Sahib Shaheedi Sabha, Arpit Shukla, Special Director General of Police (Special DGP) Law and Order, visited Fatehgarh Sahib and examined the security measures in place to make sure the event would run smoothly and safely in the district.
Taking place at Fatehgarh Sahib on December 25 to 27, 2025, the three-day annual Shaheedi Sabha will honor the martyrdom of Chotey Sahibzadas, the youngest sons of the 10th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh.
Notably, the entire region has been methodically divided into six sectors, and a force of more than 3400 police officers, overseen by six SP rank officers and twenty-four DSP rank officers, have been stationed to guarantee the comfort, safety, and orderly movement of the thousands of devotees who are anticipated to travel from all over the world.
Along with DIG Ropar Range Nanak Singh and SSP Fatehgarh Sahib Shubham Aggarwal, Special DGP addressed all SP and DSP rank officers as well as the police personnel stationed to guarantee the Shaheedi Sabha’s impenetrable security measures. In order to ensure the success of this event, he instructed them to approach the sangat with the utmost humility and to work tirelessly.
Reviewing all the security measures, he stated that the Fatehgarh Sahib police have taken a number of additional measures to guarantee the Shaheedi Sabha is conducted peacefully and smoothly this year, preventing any difficulties for pilgrims in making their homage.

For the convenience of the devotees, the Special DGP said that a shuttle bus service between the parking area and Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib will be offered, along with a total of 22 parking spaces that have been reserved. “Police have partnered with Google to geo-tag parking lots in real-time, and sign boards have been put up to direct devotees for smooth traffic control and minimal disruption to the devotees,” he said. He added that six help stations have been set up to serve devotees, including a police desk, a medical aid desk, and a fire desk. In addition, he stated that an integrated control room has been constructed.
According to the Special DGP, 300 closed-circuit television (CCTv) cameras and six drones are being utilized to keep an eye on parking and traffic patterns in addition to maintaining vigilance surrounding antisocial characters. In the meanwhile, police teams will also apply reflector stickers on tractor-trolleys as part of an effort to improve road safety and stop accidents caused by fog.
