Chandigarh, Punjab: Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora announced a historic milestone today, highlighting a significant Punjab investment record for the current financial year. According to the minister, a total investment of ₹60,276 crore has been made, marking a substantial boost to the state’s industrial and economic growth.

The Punjab investment record has also resulted in employment opportunities for 1,35,372 people, demonstrating the direct impact of industrial expansion on the state’s workforce. Minister Arora emphasized that this achievement reflects the government’s commitment to promoting large-scale investments, infrastructure development, and job creation.

Government Targets ₹75,000 Crore to Surpass Current Punjab Investment Record

Looking ahead, the government has set an ambitious target of ₹75,000 crore for the next financial year, aiming to surpass the current Punjab investment record and further strengthen the state’s economy. Analysts noted that such initiatives would encourage more private investors to participate in Punjab’s industrial sector, continuing the momentum of economic growth.
